Since 2004, Jordan Matter has photographed over 100 topless women in New York City for his "Uncovered" project. This unique project seeks to explore a world in which women are free of shame and liberated from moral judgment.
We like to visit strangers. We like to bring our cameras to visit strangers and lure them with some pink fluffy divinity in our pockets....
We enjoy shooting, but we enjoy enjoying the moment more...
We rent seedy motel rooms for studios and invite our friends over to our houses to shoot or invite ourselves over to theirs. We don't have a portfolio because we like the mistakes we make when we create as few borders as possible.
Mostly, we just enjoy creation. And words. And especially the combination of the two...
We still like dirt in strange places, don't believe you've had enough until its all over you and enjoy secrets that you want us to keep for fun, not necessity.
I'm Female and Open.

1. many years have passed with the quiet hum of the staircase bulb going on and off and on again.
2. Hey you! Come unto me! Let the meadow march into my mouth!
3. equality is an unfair fight
4. overnight valet parking at the fancy hotel: $12. getting half-naked on the windowsill across from an office building while a lady says Housekeeping around the corner and the elevator arrives
5. the appreciation of the flow of the blood of the wrists of the body

"The object in my photographs is not always the subject."
Dennis Cooper: "a passionate and visionary explorer of TWILIGHT ZONES, of the ambiguous spaces that exist between day and night, nature and civilization, youth and adulthood, male and female. His photographs of landscapes at dusk, of the industrial 'no-man's land' that lies on the outskirts of our cities, and of androgynous girls and boys adrift in the nocturnal turmoil of adolescence are painterly tableaux that continue the tradition of romantic literature and painting in our post-industrial age."
Mein Gott - ich kann mich gar nicht sattsehen daran ... ein wahrer Meister.
